Follow these simple instructions to sew your own tiered skirt using 2.5m of fabric. The fabric is cut into 7 35cm full bolt width (fbw) lengths of quilting cotton which is usually around 100cm wide. The first layer is made up of two widths minus one pocket piece. The other two pocket pieces I took from my stash using similar colours. The second layer is made up of 2 full widths. The third layer is made up of three full widths. Turn over a waist band to fit whatever elastic you are using.
